Skull and Bones Still Possess Geronimo's Skull

by Sheila Totten

Is it because they believe Geronimo's skull to have magical  or mystical properties that the skull, stolen in 1918 from Ft.Sill,Oklahoma by grave robbers still sits on a shelf  in the home of the infamous Skulls and Bones Society?Or have they just made what they conside rto be a lowly Indian skull their mascot?Whatever the answer is this skull needs to be returned to the Apache people  to be reburied  . If this were JFK's skull it would not sit on their shelf but would have been returned immediately.

The supposedly secret society can be found only at Yale University where 15 juniors are picked to join it every year.Among the famous and most powerful men to come out of this we find the following names listed in "The Origins Of The Skull And Bones" :"The family names on the Skull and Bones roster roll off the tongue like an elite party list -- Lord, Whitney, Taft, Jay, Bundy, Harriman, Weyerhaeuser, Pinchot, Rockefeller, Goodyear, Sloane, Stimson, Phelps, Perkins, Pillsbury, Kellogg, Vanderbilt, Bush, Lovett and so on."
In 1876  another group broke into the Skull and Bones' building which was named "The Tomb"In it they found one room all in black with black velvet on the wall and another done in red with red velvet. This room reportedly the sanctum had a pentagram on the wall. This order is discussed in books on the Da Vinci code also.

Coinciding with the making of the movie the about the  Da Vinci Code has been the real discovery of a document  that confirms that Geronimo's skull was dug up and is still sitting  on a shelf being used as a mascot/trophy? or maybe as a ritualistic prop for nefarious rites?
The Skull and Bones Society has admitted to possessing Geronimo's skull; and previously tried to pass of a much smaller one  in a fake effort to repatriate the skull to Geronimo's people. The ruse failed and the skull was refused.
This is just one of many outrageous circumstances that native Americans have had to face. The skull needs to be returned and reburied in traditional rites befitting the great chief. The grave robbers need to be held accountable for their actions.Of course seeing this happened in 1918 they are most likely gone but those who still hold the skull need to be made accountable for the crime against Geronimo. If this were George Washington's skull it would have been returned years ago and those who had stolen it punished. Its hard to say if  the issue remains in limbo due to people like the Bush family being involved or just because Geronimo was an Indian. The skull needs to be given back to Geronimo's true descendents .
