CBR News
CBR Wins Outdoor Channel's Golden Moose Award 2nd Consecutive Year.
At the 6th Annual Golden Moose Award Ceremony in Las Vegas a very happy and proud CBR National Director Justin Monson accepted the Fan Favorite Special Interest Award. In the CBR release Justin was quoted as saying:Winning this award for the second year in a row really says something about how far we have come in a very short time." And how true Justin's words are.
Fans vote for the awards every year so it is really significant that the CBR now has won this two years in a row. They pack so much excitement into only one hour that the fans love their show. This year's Las Vegas celebration  included such celebrities as Country Music's Joe Diffie and outdoor show  stars as Ted Nugent,Michael Waddell and Hank Parker. The CBR was the first  show to broadcast in High Definition and can be seen  three times/week on SDTV and 7 times on HDTV(including Pam Minick's new human interest  series CBR-PRO-files which gives a behind the scenes look at the CBR personalities.)
The Outdoor Channel's Senior VP of Programming Wade Sherman spoke about the vast improvement in the CBR broadcast through the use of High  Definition and now  with (since El Paso) the addition of CBR President 4X World Champion Tuff Hedeman and  seasoned PRCA/ESPN broadcaster Jeff Medders to the show. Sherman stated :"
The latest news about Medders and Hedeman joining the commentating team will only further the mission CBR and Outdoor Channel began years ago to broadcast the most informative and entertaining bull riding series on TV.  I personally can not wait for the new season to begin."
I agree with him.I am looking forward to the new season too.According to CBR's Cicily Cross in her Crossroads column the debut of the Hedeman/Medders team should air  in about two- three weeks. She also said there will be some exciting changes in the show by May 1st; and I hope one change will be the broadcast being lengthened..
