Bobby Hamilton Quits Racing To Undergo Chemotherapy

He may not be a rodeo star but I feel he needs to be included here.My prayers go out to Bobby and his family for a full and speedy recovery.

Owner-Driver,NASCAR star Bobby Hamilton   announced on March 17 that he will take time off from racing after Friday's John Deere 200 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.Hamilton was diagnosed with cancer after the Daytona 500 and on February 8th had a tumor removed from his neck.He began chemotherapy and radiation right here in his home town of Nashville at Vanderbilt University Hospital yesterday(March 20) Bobby Jr. will drive his father's number 18 Dodge  while  his dad is undergoing treatment and recuperates. Get well soon,Bobby.
