AOL ate my report "Mike Lee Wins BFTS At Atlanta

Sorry everyone but I had my report all done and had hit save when AOL Journals said the page could not be accessed at the time and try again later.meanwhile my entire report disappeared!I guess that teaches me not to back it up before printing it. It should have been up this morning but thanks to AOL...I will do a  a brief summation here and promise to redo the report  asap.

2004 PBR World Champion Mike Lee made a great 90.25 ride in the Championship Round  at the PBR's Atlanta event aboard Hot Stuff who took two lunging leaps out then spun left into Mike's hand while Mike spurred aggressively and showed that he was in complete control. Fans were glad that the PBR  did away with their inane"First to fail" format and this event went down to the last ride .Two time World Champion Chris Shivers faced Brandon Gaspar's ABA 2007 Bull of The Year The Game for the final ride. of the event. If Chris rode then he would have won but The Game remains unridden in the PBR.

A full report will follow.Meanwhile although people were thrilled that  we are back to the normal order of rides in the short go they quickly voiced their unanimous opinion on chats that they dislike intensely the PBR's  latest idea of the draft where the top of the leader board rider gets to pick his own bull for round two of a three day event and so on down the line. The riders in the cellar will face the bulls no one els ewants.People are saying that is cheating. They also hate the idea of the bulls running down streets in NYC as if it were Pampaloma,Spain and having riders on horseback waiting for the bulls at the far end. This is bull riding and not Vince McMahon's wrestling shows.Get back to basics like Adriano,Chris Shivers,Wiley and so many other riders have done. All the fans care about are the rides.Read the various message boards and sites .The fans hate these new ideas. And the latest change-several events where  only one rider will take home all the money.Fresno is scheduled to be the first of these events with $100,000 purse going to one rider.Again the fans think it reeks of cheating the natural odds as to make it to the Finals its not points but money  earned that  counts. If it was $100,000 added money as a bonus it would not be so bad but this way it means 44 riders cannot earn any money that event for the qualification standings. That is messed up.I think Spire needs to reinstate the old board and stop coming up with these ideas that are not  fair to fans or riders ; and as they sure don't pay my salary you can count on me to speak out. I invite everyone who reads this to speak out here on these issues .
